About The Author

Jerry Krause

The author grew up on a farm near Yellowstone, which was a healthy childhood with three siblings. His mother and father taught him to be kind, industrious, and self-reliant. Upon graduation, he studied engineering at the collegiate level and joined the Air Force in the Vietnam War, where he had the honor of serving four years at the Pentagon, a critical time in his life.

It was in college that he got interested in the introduction of computers on campus, and this led him towards the new technology. With the rise of computing in the business and military, he established a thriving IT, management, and consulting career. His career path involved a ten or eleven-move relocation, which meant that he had to adjust to new places as his family said goodbye to friends and schools. Nevertheless, in every transition, strong backing was given.

The loss of his wife, Judi, after 42 years of marriage, caused an indefinite gap that was impossible to fill. However, the coincidental events brought Nancy into his life when he saw her in the back row of the choir; they got married almost three years later and have now been married for almost eighteen years, which brought him a sense of gratitude. He is surrounded by a small group of friends, most of whom he has known for almost sixty years, and he leads a life of singing, charity, fishing, and photography. His life, full of victories and difficulties, does not change his opinion.
